Yamatokoriyama Goldfish Study Society (a Cooperative Society)
This
Society
was
founded
in
March
2002.
It
was
co-founded
by
Yamato
Kingyoen
and
some
other
businesses
dealing
in
goldfish
in
Yamatokoriyama.
Its
objective
is
to
activate
the
traditional
goldfish
industry
of
Yamatokoriyama
and
promote
Japan’s
aquarium
fish
industry,
by
improving
the
productivity,
quality
and
efficiency
of
goldfish
and
golden
carp
industry.
The
Society
conducts
experiments
on
high-density
goldfish
breeding,
and
manages
business
sites.
